Welcome

SqueezePlay Baseball is proud to be the host of several USSSA Baseball tournaments throughout the year.   Please view our Tournaments for all upcoming tournaments.

We have expanded to bring you top notch facilities with multiple fields for our tournaments.  In 2009 we will be hosting tournaments in Scotland County (Laurinburg), Robeson County(Pembroke, Lumberton, Red Springs), and Cumberland County(Fayetteville).

We will do our best to present quality tournaments for players, coaches and fans alike.  We hope that our tournaments, for ages 8U-18U teams, will prepare teams for play in State and National Competition.

See you on the Diamond!

Divisions of Play

Major

These teams generally have a better than average winning percentage and are always in the top bracket on sunday They can play .500 ball with other major teams. These teams would always enter the top level of play at regional or national tournaments.

AAA

This division is comprised of competitive teams that are not quite as developed as the Major Teams. Teams have been moved up from AA, but could be a fairly new team.  These teams almost always qualify for the top bracket on sunday or win the lesser bracket on sunday. These teams play at or above .500 ball at
all times and could win some games against major teams and should almost always beat AA teams.

AA

Teams Have been moved up from Class A ball or players have played on a travel team for more than one Roster Season. Teams are reclassified to AAA after winning three tournaments with a minimum of 4 teams in the tournament. Teams can not be reclassified to Class A. These teams are consistently in the silver bracket on sunday and usually finish no better than 3-1 or 2-2 in any given tournament.

A

This division is new to Travel Baseball in North Carolina. These teams are for kids wanting to learn the game of baseball at a higher level but have very little experience with lead off's, stolen bases etc. They would not be able to play .500 ball against any teams not in A class.

Game Format

Teams shall play 2 pool play games followed by bracket play.
